OUR VISION

Welcome. The Vincent Anthony Foundation was founded in 2005. Its purpose is twofold: first, encouraging the wondering about life and the dialogue with other people and cultures; second, the development of singular projects aimed at the welfare of mankind, animals and nature. Our main project is focused on a home for disabled children in Zala, Hungary.

Wondering and dialogue

Our main purpose is to encourage people to think, by wondering about life. We mainly focus on schools. The VAF is developing lesson material and organizes lectures on themes which try to inspire. In our vision, an openminded, wondering attitude towards life contributes to tolerance and mutual understanding. To use a cliché: one who has never changed his opinion, might never have learnt anything.

Wish to contribute

Obviously, we're not saying that we have the key to a better world. Futhermore, the VAF doesn't have a religious background. The foundation wasn't named after me because of pride, but from the idea that not only famous people like Lance Armstrong and Bernard van Leer can make a contribution through their foundations, but an unknown Vincent Anthony as well. With less resources, of course. But sharing a common goal: trying to contribute to a more liveable world.
